A New Strategic Council

This year the APPG refreshed its Strategic Council, who have an important role to play in the context of the APPG. The new members provide expertise and insight that will inform parliamentarians and the APPG, ensuring that our work remains evidence-based and impactful.

The Council has been split into two working groups, covering both childhood obesity and weight management services. This structure will allow the Council to provide targeted guidance, highlight best practice, and help identify practical policy solutions in these key areas.

We thoroughly look forward to working with the members of the Strategic Council to strengthen the APPG’s work, build consensus, and drive forward meaningful change.
